Losing weight can be difficult to do but if you enlist the aid of someone else it can be much easier, even fun. Here is how to lose weight with a friend.
Instructions
Step 1
Ask a good friend if they want to lose weight with you. This could be your husband, sibling, co-worker, best friend...someone you feel would like to lose weight and would enjoy support.
Step 2
Weigh in with your friend. Write down your current weights and goal weights. To lose weight with a friend, you should both be clear on what your goals are. You may want to break it down into mini-goals.
Step 3
Discuss healthy ways of eating with your friend. Each week pick something new to focus on, like drinking more water, cutting out fried food etc.
Step 4
Keep a food journal. Exchange food journals at the end of each week to stay accountable.
Step 5
Set goals for exercise. Exercising together is a great way to lose weight with a friend.
Step 6
As you and your friend accomplish your goals reward your self with fun things. Go to the movies or buy a new outfit for example.
Step 7
Remember it is not a competition. You both want to lose weight and supporting each other is the best way to lose weight with a friend.
